Notting Hill (1999)

A top 10 pick for this guy! Even though I may not be the sensitive type, I really did enjoy this story. The group of characters was superb, and the laughs were appropriately placed for maximum added-value, giving it that extra special ingredient. I recommend this film for everyone who enjoys a sweet love story, but not too sweet as it has its ups and downs. Who among us has never had the fantasy of bumping into a famous celeb and having them fall for us, just the way we are…? I know I have…!! Julia and Hugh have some great chemistry in this film, making it very believable. I suggest you see this film if you already haven’t, and if you have, maybe see it again.

Planet Terror (2007)

Loved it..!! No, not because of how great Rose McGowan looks, and not because it’s a Tarantino picture. It was just a blast to watch and brought back memories of my childhood, sitting in front of the TV on a Friday night, waiting to be terrified by zombies and other creatures that go bump in the night. Parents, this genre may be unsuitable for the viewing pleasure of minors, so please beware. This film contains all the classic elements of those horror movies from the by-gone drive-in days.I admit that I was not surprised to find myself really enjoying this film, but then again who would..!?

The Invisible (2007)

Although the previews looked great, I was a bit skeptical. I am pleased to announcement that this was an entertaining film. It was slow at times, but there was more then enough story to keep my interest for the entire movie. The ending itself was a complete surprise, making this film unexpected. I do suggest not missing it as it is now available on DVD at your local video store. As always, please feel free to add your comments, good or bad, regarding your opinions of this or any other movie.
